Gobierno Nacional ratifica compromiso para lograr la disminución de siniestros viales en Norte de Santander.
Durante el Consejo Territorial de Seguridad Vial de Norte de Santander, se destacaron las diferentes estrategias que realiza articuladamente el Ministerio de Transporte y la ANSV con las autoridades locales y departamentales para la disminución de siniestros viales en el departamento. Lo anterior, teniendo en cuenta el registro de 115 víctimas fatales, entre enero y julio de 2021, 31 más que en el mismo periodo del 2020.
• Durante el Consejo Territorial de Seguridad Vial de Norte de Santander, se destacaron las diferentes estrategias que realiza articuladamente el Ministerio de Transporte y la ANSV con las autoridades locales y departamentales para la disminución de siniestros viales en el departamento. Lo anterior, teniendo en cuenta el registro de 115 víctimas fatales, entre enero y julio de 2021, 31 más que en el mismo periodo del 2020.
Bogotá D.C., septiembre 1 de 2021 (@ansvcol). Fortalecer las acciones que permitan la disminución de siniestros en las vías de Norte de Santander, fue el compromiso adquirido en el Consejo Territorial de Seguridad Vial, celebrado hoy, con la presencia del Ministerio de Transporte, ANSV, autoridades departamentales y locales.
La ministra de transporte, Ángela María Orozco, indicó que “aunque el departamento de Norte de Santander cumplió con la meta de vidas salvadas en el año 2020, para el 2021 las estadísticas muestran un aumento de víctimas en siniestros viales; en este sentido, el Gobierno Nacional reitera su intención de aunar esfuerzos para retomar la senda de disminución, a través de una estrategia integral que incluya a todas las autoridades y lidere la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial”.
Por su parte, el director Luis Lota destacó que “entre enero y julio de 2021 se han registrado 115 víctimas fatales, 31 más que en el mismo periodo del 2020. Del total de víctimas, 70 fueron usuarios de motocicleta (21 más que 2020); seguido por peatones con 23; usuarios de vehículos con 15 víctimas y usuarios de bicicleta con 7. En el caso de Cúcuta, se registran 40 fallecidos, 3 más que en 2020” explicó Luis Lota, director general de la ANSV.
Para el logro de la meta de disminución de cifras de siniestros viales en Norte de Santander, la Agencia Nacional de Seguridad Vial ha dispuesto una estrategia integral que incluye, entre otras acciones, el acompañamiento en el Comité Departamental de Seguridad Vial y Comités Locales de Seguridad Vial para Cúcuta, Ocaña, Sardinata, Ábrego y Tibú. De igual forma, se prestará la asistencia técnica en la creación del Comité Local de Seguridad Vial de Villa del Rosario, Villa Caro, La Playa, El Tarra, Teorama y Toledo.
Así mismo, la ANSV continuará con la asistencia técnica en la formulación de los Planes Locales de Seguridad Vial de Villa Caro, La Playa, El Tarra, Teorama y Toledo. La entidad seguirá acompañando al departamento en la implementación de la ruta integral de atención a víctimas de siniestros viales, así como con la formación en los temas de víctimas, especialmente en los cursos enfocados en dar la noticia del siniestro, acciones de primer respondiente y apoyo sicológico en el momento del siniestro vial.
Además, del punto seguro en vía (Los Patios Ruta Sector Presidente Pamplona – Cúcuta), en donde se realizan inspecciones a los sistemas y partes de los vehículos y se sensibiliza a los conductores sobre adecuados hábitos de conducción, con el fin de mitigar y prevenir factores de riesgo en seguridad vial.
En el marco de la fase III del programa Pequeñas Grandes Obras, se tienen 34 proyectos en Abrego, Cúcuta, El Zulia, Los Patios, Ocaña, Sardinata, Tibú y Villa del Rosario que se han viabilizado para ser diseñados y ya se encuentran en desarrollo (algunos de ellos serán priorizados para ser ejecutados durante el tercer trimestre de 2021).
Además de lo anterior, se implementará el proceso de formación de líderes, un programa de formación virtual dirigido a líderes, para fortalecer sus competencias en liderazgo social y seguridad vial en el territorio nacional y se desarrollará la estrategia moto destrezas en Cúcuta y Ocaña, que consiste en la formación para fortalecer los conocimientos, habilidades y destrezas para la conducción de motocicleta y la estrategia de bici destrezas en Cúcuta para hacer una verificación de habilidades en bicicleta.
